Jatinder Kanwar re-elected Himotkarsh prez

Voluntary organisation Himotkarsh Parishad today held its general body elections, which are held after a period of every four years. Parishad president Jatinder Kanwar was unanimously elected as the president for the second consecutive term.
The members authorised him to nominate other officer-bearers.
Speaking on the occasion, Jatinder Kanwar said Himotkarsh Parishad has eight branches in the state and undertakes various types of voluntary activities in the fields of education, health, women empowerment, environment conservation and social awareness.
He said the organisation also provides scholarhip to meritorious students, organises health and blood donation camps, besides providing help to needy widows every month.
Parishad members Dr Ravinder Sood, Col DP Vashisth (retd), Jai Gopal Sharma, Baldev Chand, Yogesh Kaushal, Anup Sharda, Rama Kanwar, Deepshikha Kaushal, Ashwani Saini, MM Garg, Shesh Pal Thakur, Baldev Dogra and others were present at the meeting besides others.
