Himachal Pradesh University students take part in seminar

As many as 75 students participated in one-day seminar on the topic "One Nation, One Election" that was organised by the Research Committee of Himachal Pradesh University here today.

The keynote speaker of the seminar was Professor Harish Thakur talked about the utilities and challenges of one nation, one election, how resources and time can be saved through one nation one election and how more stable and efficient governance can be ensured. He also spoke about the constitutional challenges faced in one nation, one election.

Research University Unit Convenor Chitresh said that the research unit will continue to organize many such seminars and programs for the mental development of the students.
