State Congress president Pratibha Singh left for New Delhi today to attend the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting tomorrow. In addition to attending the CWC meeting, she will meet with the party’s top leaders and is likely to discuss the reconstitution of the dissolved Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC).

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is already in New Delhi. Meanwhile, 16 central observers appointed by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) have begun gathering feedback from the public, grassroots party workers, and local leaders to facilitate the reconstitution of HPCC.

Rajiv Verma, the observer appointed by AICC for district Shimla, interacted with local leaders at the state Congress headquarters and sought their opinions on forming district Congress and block Congress committees. Several leaders, including Shimla Municipal Corporation Mayor Surender Chauhan, Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal, and former MLAs Sohan Lal and Chiranji Lal Kashyap, shared their views with the observer.
