State BJP president Rajeev Bindal today said that the BJP’s win in Haryana was the approval of the working style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the policies of the BJP.

Bindal said that it was due to the exemplary leadership of the Prime Minister — be it for the welfare of the poor and farmers, uplift of the youth, women, infrastructure development or other national issues — that the BJP had scored a hat-trick of victories in Haryana.

‘Dividing nation’

People have told Rahul Gandhi, who is trying to divide the country on the basis of caste, that they will remain united. Rajeev Bindal, State BJP president

He said that the people of Haryana had reposed faith in Modi’s policies and rejected the Congress’ policy of nepotism, division of people on the basis of caste and its religion-based politics. “And people have told Rahul Gandhi, who is trying to divide the country on the basis of caste, that they will remain united and the Sanatan will remain intact,” said Bindal.

Meanwhile, Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur reiterated that the state government was imposing new taxes on people instead of reducing wasteful expenditure. “The national leaders of the Congress tried to implement the model of false guarantees of the state in Haryana as well, but people there foiled their plans by expressing faith in the BJP,” said Thakur.

He alleged, “Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu lied to and misled the public during the Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. As a result, the Congress had to bear the brunt of it in both the states.”
