As many as 135 officials from various departments participated in a one-day workshop on ‘CollabFiles, eTaal, and Gov in Secure Intranet Web Portals’ that was organised by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to teach participants to leverage the power of this technology. The workshop was inaugurated by Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, who encouraged all the participants to make full use of these tools. He said that these platforms aimed to facilitate secure communication, enhance data handling, and streamline operations across government offices.

Ayush and Digital Technologies and Governance Secretary Rakhil Kahlon were the guests of honour at the event. Deputy Director General and state co-ordinator Inder Paul Singh Sethi, along with his teams from the NIC’s Headquarters and NIC Telangana, played a key role in the workshop.

The workshop featured a series of presentations followed by a live demo by Dr P Gayatri, HoD CollabFiles, and Dr OP Gupta, Director (IT), NIC, Delhi. The speakers gave valuable insights into these key digital initiatives aimed at improving government office operations.

Deputy Director General, NIC, Ajay Singh Chahal, welcomed the chief guest and all the participants and gave an overview of these tools and highlighted their importance.
