Extend UG application deadline: Himachal Pradesh University student body

The Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) unit of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) here today demanded the Dean of Studies to extend the deadline for undergraduate applications. A delegation of the SFI met HPU Dean of Studies BK Shivram and submitted a memorandum regarding their demand.

SFI activists, in a press statement, said applications for the entrance exams for admissions in all colleges had to be submitted by July 15. However, many students had not been able to submit their admission forms on time.

There were many students who were not able to get admissions in undergraduate courses due to the irregularities in the university’s online application processes, the statement read further.

Shivram assured them that the deadline for admissions in undergraduate courses would be extended soon.
