Drive against drugs in Mandi, Kullu

To end the drug menace in Mandi and Kullu, the administration of both districts have launched a massive awareness campaign for one month from November 15 to December 15. During the period, the campaign will be organised in villages to make people aware about the ill-effects of drug abuse.
Joining hands to wipe out social evil
- Palampur: The Dhauladhar Seva Samiti, along with hundreds of students of various colleges and schools, took out an awareness rally against drug abuse
here on Saturday.
The march began from the Rotary Bhavan and culminated at the Gandhi ground, where several speakers highlighted the ills of drugs, urging the youth to stayaway from the evil.

Additional District Magistrate, Mandi, Shrawan Manta flagged off a rally on Friday and urged people to take active part in the campaign. Awareness camps will be organised in schools and colleges.
