Delegation thanks CM for historic increase in milk procurement price

A delegation from the Bushahar Dughad Uttpadak Sangh in Shimla district today thanked Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for giving a historic hike in the procurement price of buffalo and cow milk. The delegation called on the Chief Minister here today at the secretariat. The delegation said no other government in Himachal had taken such significant step to ensure the welfare of milk producers. They also honoured Sukhu with a Himachali cap and shawl.

The Chief Minister said the state government was committed to strengthen the rural economy. He said more initiatives would be taken in the near future to support the farming community. He said milk plants would be set up all across the state.
