Dagshai school honoured for Class XII results
Army Public School (APS), Dagshai, has been honoured with the Academic Excellence Award by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) for excelling in the Class XII board results for the session 2023 among all APSs.
The school was placed among the top performers in the ‘Very Small Schools’ category, winning a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.
The award, presented by AWES Managing Director Maj Gen PR Murali, VSM (retd), was received by principal Ritambari Ghai at APS, Shankar Vihar, New Delhi.
The event was attended by distinguished dignitaries and educationists from across the country.
This honour is annually bestowed upon the top two schools in five categories based on student strength, recognising the highest standards of academic excellence and fostering a spirit of healthy competition among AWES institutions.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ghai expressed her immense pride in the school’s achievement, attributing the success to the collective efforts of both the dedicated teaching staff and the hardworking students.
“This award is a testament to the relentless dedication and commitment of our teachers, students and the entire staff. At APS, Dagshai, we are deeply committed to nurturing the academic potential of every student and empowering them to excel.

The Academic Excellence Award aims to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of schools under the AWES umbrella, particularly those from smaller institutions.
