Dr Bhupin Shekhari and Dr Nagesh Sharma gave tips to slum-dwellers on how to avoid diseases, including Covid-19. They interacted with people and made them aware about the virus and advised them to wash their hands before eating food and use a clean handkerchief while coughing.

NGO president Deepak Bhatia explained to them the benefits of cleanliness. He said that small children, who walk around barefoot without clothes, and slippers, need to take special care. Soaps and towels were also distributed among the residents, he added.
