Beti Bachao Beti Padhao awareness camp organised at ITI in Reckong Peo

An awareness camp on the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme was organised today at the ITI in Reckong Peo, Kinnaur district, under the Mission Shakti initiative by the district women empowerment hub. The camp provided detailed information to students about the scheme.

On the occasion, Dr Kaviraj from the Regional Hospital, Reckong Peo, and Mala Bhakti from the Women and Child Welfare Department, Kinnaur, shared vital insights on the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, the Mukhyamantri Sukhashray Yojana, and menstrual hygiene. During the event, the Women and Child Development Department distributed sanitary pads to all girl students.

Officials from the Women and Child Development Department and others were also present at the event.
