A two-day symposium held at Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, Palampur, concluded on Friday.

During the closing ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Naveen Kumar, as the chief guest, emphasised that the symposium’s purpose was to benefit students, farmers and the industry. Addressing the experts, Kumar urged them to apply their findings to benefit farmers, and suggested creating short video clips on crop disease solutions, which could be shared with farmers through social media for direct impact.

The winners of the poster-making competition — including Pallavi, Saumya, Mukesh, Saloni, Abhisha, Nitasha, Shalakha, Riya, Ravi Kumar, Vishal Acharya, Akshay, Kavita, Chintwan, Divya, and Aashiya Nabi — were awarded by the VC, and special guest Brij Mohan Singh.
