8 IAS officers shifted
The state government transferred eight IAS officers and one Indian Forest Service officer today.
As per the government notification, Rakesh Kumar Prajapati, Director, Industries, was transferred as Director, Energy while Yunus, Commissioner, State Taxes and Excise, would be the new Director, Industries. However, Yunus shall continue to hold the charge of Commissioner, State Taxes and Excise, till further orders.
Harikesh Meena, Director, Energy, was posted as Managing Director, HP Power Corporation Ltd, Shimla. He was holding the additional charge of the Managing Director’s post. Rupali Thakur, Director, Women and Child Development Department, was posted as Director, HP Institute of Public Administration, Shimla.
Manasi Sahay Thakur, Director, Tourism and Civil Aviation, was transferred as Labour Commissioner-cum-Director, Employment, Shimla; she was holding the additional charge of this post. Vivek Bhatia, Principal Private Secretary-cum-Special Secretary to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, would also hold the additional charge of Director, Tourism and Civil Aviation, while Nivedita Negi, who is at present on leave, was transferred as Secretary, HP Public Service Commission. Bhatia is also holding the additional charge of Director, Youth Services and Sports.
Gopal Chand, Director, Urban Development, was posted as Chief Executive Officer-cum-Managing Director, Shimla Smart City Ltd., Shimla. He was holding the additional charge of this post. IFS officer Neeraj Kumar, at present serving as the Conservator of Forests, Rampur in Shimla district, was posted as Director, Urban Development. The Forest Department has placed his services at the disposal of the Department of Personnel.
