Rs 250 cr-worth development projects underway in Dehra: MLA
Dehra MLA Kamlesh Thakur, who is presently touring the constituency, is reaching out to the public to address to their demands.
According to her, she is committed to fulfilling the poll promises and maintains that her priority is the overall development of the Dehra Assembly.
Thakur is optimist that soon the constituency would be one of the most developed areas of the state. On November 5, she accompanied the Chief Minster during the opening of the CM camp office and the SP office at Dehra, while the next day she presided over a meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) at Haripur, giving direction for an early completion of the newly built hospital building there.
Today, while giving details and interacting with the people in Gram Panchayat, Jalandhar Lahad and Muhal, of Dehra Assembly constituency, she mentioned about the various development works worth Rs 250 crore that are underway in the area.
According to her, the state government would reach out to every village in the constituency on priority basis improving basic facilities like electricity and water (to name a few). She said that adequate funds are being provided by the government to strengthen road connectivity in the panchayats that have been neglected for decades.
The MLA also announced that Harad to Khabli via Jalandhar Lahad link road will be constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore 30 lakh. Tenders worth Rs 1 crore 15 lakh have been issued for the improvement work of Muhal to Khabli and Khabli to Meoli road.
On the occasion, Jal Shakti Department XEN Anish Thakur, Tehsildar Karam Chand Kalia, DFO Sunny Verma, BDO Mukesh Thakur, Gram Panchayat, Jalandhar Lahad, Pradhan Kanta Devi, former District Council Ruma Kondal, Gram Panchayat, Moohal, Pradhan Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Pradhan Ran Singh, Devraj, Meena Kumari, Seema Devi and Sanjay Rana were present along with a large number of locals.
