The police have arrested a 30-year-old youth named Amir in connection with the murder of two individuals, shedding light on a disturbing pattern of violence linked to his alleged drug addiction.

The investigation began with the disappearance of Avinash, a local youth. Authorities became suspicious when Amir was found using Avinash’s mobile phone. During interrogation, Amir confessed to murdering Avinash on the night of October 9. He lured Avinash to a dilapidated building under the pretence of offering him drugs or inviting him to a party. Once there, Amir reportedly pushed Avinash from the first floor, leading to his death. Following the murder, he stole Avinash’s money and phone before disposing of the body.

The police initiated a search after Avinash’s family reported him missing when he failed to return home that night. During his confession, Amir also revealed that he had killed another youth.
