Yamunanagar MLA seeks better facilities at sports complex

MLA Ghanshyam Dass Arora raised a number of demands in the state Assembly session for his Yamunanagar Assembly constituency.

His demands included making the Tejli Sports Complex a state-level complex and establishing 'Transport Nagar' in Yamunanagar.

The BJP MLA, while raising his demands for his Assembly constituency during the Haryana Assembly Session, said that there was a sports complex in Tejli village falling under Yamunanagar Assembly segment, where state-level sports facilities should be made available.

He said the district was an industrial hub and factories of plywood, metal and various engineering works were operational there.

“Everyday, hundreds of trucks come here to load and unload goods but there is no transport nagar (truck adda) here. There is a traffic jam here every day in the absence of a transport area, therefore I raised the demand of setting up the same in the Assembly session,” said Arora.

He said that a road would be constructed along the Western Jamuna Canal from Badhi Majra village to Jhotha road in Jagadhri for the convenience of people.

He said that he had been continuously raising his voice for his constituency in the Assembly.

“I have been getting development works done in my Assembly constituency through Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini,” said Arora.
