Will respond, but Deepender Hooda must tell what Congress govt did for Haryana: Subhash Sudha
Karnal, July 17
Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister Subhash Sudha today expressed the willingness of the government to respond to the questions raised by Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda during the Congress’s ‘Haryana Mange Hisaab’ campaign, but asked Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda to inform people about the work done by the Congress in its 10-year tenure.
“We are ready to answer all questions, but they should disclose how jobs were allocated during their regime,” Sudha said while interacting with the media on the sidelines of a District Grievance Redressal Committee meeting here. Emphasising transparency and accountability in the BJP government, he said: “CM Nayab Singh Saini will reply wherever they want.”
During the meeting, 16 complaints were presented, of which 11 were resolved. Sudha terminated the services of a ration depot holder for overcharging. “I have directed the registration of an FIR against him and the DFSC has been asked to take steps to check such incidents,” he said.
Talking about the ongoing farmers’ agitation, he said: “Farmers are our friends. They should come for a dialogue to resolve the issue. We had discussions with them to address their concerns.”
Asked about the withdrawal of support by an Independent MLA, Sudha remarked that the government was safe, and in full majority. “Even an MLA from Congress, Kiran Choudhry, and a former MLA, Shyam Singh Rana (INLD), have joined us. Our government is performing well.”
Sudha also highlighted measures to improve public services. “We have exempted garbage charges and are simplifying the process of property registration,” he said.
On the issue of Rajya Sabha elections, he expressed confidence in BJP’s victory. “We are ready for the Rajya Sabha elections as well as Assembly elections. The BJP will win both elections,” he claimed.
