Haryana’s Minister of State for Youth Empowerment Entrepreneurship, Sports, and Law and Legislative, Gaurav Gautam, has assured the entrepreneurs of the district that their grievances would be redressed soon. The issue came up after the Palwal Industries Association (PIA) submitted a memorandum regarding its demands at an interactive session with the minister here on Monday night.

Gautam said the issues confronting the industries and entrepreneurs would be taken up with the authorities concerned and that he would leave no stone unturned for the development of the required infrastructure and facilities in the district in the next five years.

He said he would help a five-member delegation of the industries have a meeting with the CM soon. Besides this, he said the industrial sector would get a representation in a redressal committee, in which with least two members of the body would be included so that issues related to industries were taken cognisance of in a timely manner. He asked DC Harish Vashisht to provide support for the growth and development of the industrial sector, claiming that it was vital for generating employment opportunities on a large scale. He also asked the entrepreneurs for their contribution towards making the city clean and green through CSR initiatives. The DC said while there was no shortage of power supply, the issues regarding breakdown or amenities would be resolved with the help of the departments concerned. He said a meeting with the industry representatives would be held at every two months.
