With Assembly election around the corner, former Sirsa MP Sunita Duggal said she would definitely contest the upcoming elections if directed by the BJP high command. Duggal made this statement while addressing a gathering at her Sirsa residence, where she tied Rakhi to party workers.
She also criticised the Congress and claimed that the party had no standing in Haryana. Additionally, Duggal targeted the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), advising Digvijay Singh Chautala to reflect on his party’s declining influence, as several members continued to defect.
Furthermore, Duggal praised Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, applauding his remarkable achievements in a short span of time.
She also lauded former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for ensuring equal development across the state during his tenure.
Duggal expressed confidence that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the BJP would form the government for the third time at the Centre, and similarly, in Haryana under the leadership of CM Nayab Singh Saini.
Notably, Duggal served in the Income Tax Department for 22 years, holding various positions before taking voluntary retirement as an Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax in 2014.
