The movement of heavily loaded trucks during peak hours on roads in Kaithal has become a source of nuisance to residents. Commuters, especially two-wheeler riders, and pedestrians struggle to pass through the roads. The administration should take steps to ensure that such vehicles are not allowed to enter the busy roads in the town during the day and are diverted to pass through the existing Ambala, Khanauri roads. Lack of potable water

For the past one week, residents of Sector 21, Gurugram, are facing a lot of problems due to the lack of potable water. The motor at the water pump has not been working for the past five days. The proposals for providing standby motors have not been successful despite repeated requests by residents in the past year. The capacity of the motor has also not been increased. The authorities should repair the water pump motor and provide a stand by motor for emergency situations. Prakash Lamba, Gurugram

Ban burning of crackers during late-night hours

Locals often complain about firecrackers being burnt late at night in Kaithal. The noise generated by these activities is not only disturbing but also violates the guidelines regarding the permissible hours for the use of such items. The constant disruptions have led to sleepless nights for many residents. The administration must look into the matter and ensure that necessary action is taken in the matter.
