Stray cattle inconveniencing commuters

Stray cattle can be seen on city roads as well as in rural areas, posing a constant threat to commuters. These animals sit anywhere, especially in the middle of roads, blocking traffic flow. They attack two-wheeler riders. Very often, oxen start fighting in the middle of roads and damage parked or moving vehicles. The authorities should take steps to address this menace.

Weapon selling process cumbersome

The Deputy Commissioner in the capacity as District Magistrate is vested with the powers to accord approval for the sale of weapons only when the consent letter of the buyer is attached. This practice is not good. As per this provision, a weapon seller is supposed to enquire everything to find a buyer. The government/DM should do away with this diktat. It is not an unlawful activity if the permission to sell the weapon is granted without the consent of the buyer. The weapon shall be sold as and when the buyer is found. The present practice is set to keep the owner of the weapon at the receiving end.
