Water-logging a curse in Sonepat
The road in Kundli near Delhi border on the national highway-44 is in poor shape. It speaks volumes about the poor drainage system in the area. Commuters are the worst sufferers, especially when it rains, due to the severe water-logging in the area. But the authorities have turned a blind eye to the issue and common man continues to suffer.

Bad road irks Narwana locals
Around five years ago, the CM had announced at the Narwana grain market that the road from Dhakal to the new grain market (mela mandi) along the canal would be re-carpeted, making the lives of those residing on both sides of the canal easier. But, five years have passed but nothing has been done on the ground. The condition has further worsened. This is the main road that links the railway station with the mini secretariat and the bus stand. But, despite several protests nobody from the administration is bothered to address the issue.

‘Death to rapists will restore people’s faith in judiciary’
A Delhi court’s death warrant for the four convicts in the 2012 Delhi gangrape case will empower women and strengthen people’s faith in the judiciary. Four of the six accused will be hanged on January 22 at 7 am. Ram Singh, one of the convicts, allegedly killed himself in 2013, while the juvenile was released after a three-year term. The court’s decision will instil fear in people who commit such crimes and increase faith of people in law and order.
