Vote for ‘lotus’ to keep up pace of development: Haryana CM
Caretaker Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini called on the people to press the button of “lotus” symbol on October 5 to keep the pace of development intact in the state.
“After October 8, leave the rest to us, and we will accelerate the development of Gharaunda and Assandh. The lotus will surely bloom in the state. We will ensure the pace of development works in the state. We have done inclusive development with the mission of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas”,” said Saini while addressing two public meetings in the district.
He addressed two public meetings in the district — one at Chaura village of the Gharaunda Assembly segment for the party’s candidate Harvinder Kalyan and second in Assandh in the favour of party candidate Yoginder Rana on Tuesday.
Saini criticised the Congress party, accusing it of “dishonest” governance and corruption. He claimed that during the Congress rule, innocent farmers’ land were taken to benefit their political allies.
Saini referenced the Congress government’s failure in Himachal Pradesh, and said no promises related to free electricity and money to women had been fulfilled.
Saini assured the people that he would fulfil all promises made in the party’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ and said Rs 2,100 per month would be given to each woman under the Laado Laxmi Yojana, jobs would be provided to two lakh youth without any slip and without any expense, LPG cylinder for Rs 500 and others would be fulfilled. He also highlighted the works done by the BJP government in the state for the welfare of farmers and said, “The BJP is the only government, which is purchasing 24 crops at the minimum support price (MSP). We have made efforts to double the income of farmers,” said Saini.
Highlighting the achievements of the BJP government, Saini emphasised how the party had curbed corruption, nepotism and family politics over the past decade. He also compared the works done during his 56 days regime in power with that of the 10-year tenure of former CM Hooda.
