Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann on Saturday took out a roadshow in the town to seek votes for AAP’s Rewari candidate Satish Yadav.

Addressing supporters, he launched a scathing attack on the BJP government over “corruption and unemployment” in Haryana.

Taking a dig at the BJP for replacing the CM a few months ahead of the elections in the state, Mann said the new engine (referring to CM Nayab Singh Saini) of the double engine government of the BJP in Haryana did not know which track to ply on.

“Unemployment in Haryana has risen fivefold during the BJP regime, exposing the tall claim of the state government of providing employment to the people in the past decade,” he said.

Mann claimed the AAP government had given jobs to 45,000 aspirants in Punjab without any recommendation and money, while another 3 lakh people got employment in the private sector. Similarly, Arvind Kejriwal had provided employment to 10 lakh people in the past 8 years in Delhi.

“On coming to power in Haryana, we will show you, how the work is done. Nearly 90 per cent of the people in Delhi and Punjab do not get electricity bills. Even the electricity boards are not in a loss. If the intention is clear, good results can be delivered,” Mann said, while appealing to the people to vote for Yadav for good governance in Haryana.
