Two killed in road mishaps in Yamunanagar
Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in Yamunanagar district.
The deceased have been identified as Amit Kumar of Bhagwanpur village and Yash Sharma of Bambhol village.
Separate incidents
- Amit Kumar of Bhagwanpur village, who worked as a vegetable vendor, was hit by a car coming from the opposite side
- Yash Sharma of Bambhol village died, when his motorcycle hit a utility vehicle, on the Panchkula-Saharanpur national highway
Pradeep Kumar of Bhagwangarh village told the police that his brother Amit Kumar worked as a vegetable vendor.
He said Amit was going to buy vegetables from a market at Sadhaura town on Thursday and when he reached near Swabadi village, his motorcycle was hit by a car coming from the opposite side.
He said that he fell down and sustained severe injuries in the accident.
He said that he was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
The police have registered an FIR in connection with this case.
In another road accident, Yash Sharma of Bambhol village died on the Panchkula-Saharanpur national highway.
Naraian of Bambhol village told the police that his nephew was going to his house from Harnaul village on Wednesday night when his motorcycle hit a utility vehicle on the way.
He said he sustained serious injuries in the accident and died. A case has been registered against the driver of the utility vehicle.
