Two brothers lost their lives, and their brother-in-law was injured in a head-on collision between a car and a pickup truck on Friday night near Jakhal in Fatehabad district. The accident occurred due to the high-beam headlights of the pickup, which blinded the car driver.

The deceased were identified as Kuldeep (30) and Bunty (20), residents of Meond Kalan village. Kuldeep, who was driving the car, was married and had a 3-year-old son. Bunty, who was unmarried, was the younger brother. Their brother-in-law, Sunil, who was seated in the back, survived with injuries and was hospitalised.

According to family members, Kuldeep and Bunty had gone to Jakhal bus stand around 11 pm to pick up Sunil. On their way back to Meond Kalan, the car lost control near the Jakhal-Kulan Road due to the high beam of the oncoming pickup truck. The car collided with the pickup, leaving the car completely crushed.
