To get free power, health services, vote for AAP: MP Raghav Chadha
AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has exhorted the public to vote for the party and its candidate from the Assandh Assembly seat, Amandeep Jundla.
He said, “The AAP asks for votes on the basis of development works carried out by it. The Delhi government, which is held by the AAP, has built government schools in the capital that are better than international schools. It has provided a 24-hour electricity facility. Besides, bus travel is free for women and pilgrimage is free for the elderly. Apart from this, the party has provided free services in various fields such as education and health.” The MP said this while addressing a massive gathering after a roadshow before the filing of nomination papers of Amandeep.
Referring to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal as the son of Haryana, he said, “If you want Arvind Kejriwal’s Delhi-like schools, mohalla clinics, free bus travel, pilgrimage, electricity and water in the state as well, vote for the AAP in Haryana, too. The most important thing is that your son Arvind Kejriwal is also from the state.”
He said Kejriwal was fighting for people. The AAP MP called the upcoming Assembly elections the most crucial, with the party contesting all 90 seats with full force. “The AAP does not contest the elections to lose; we fight to serve the nation by forming the government,” he asserted.
Chadha said the people of Haryana had given a chance to all parties, but none of them had worked for the state. “The people of Haryana have given chances to the BJP, JJP, Congress and INLD, but no leader has ever served for the public’s welfare. This time, the people of Haryana should give a chance to the AAP,” he added.
He took a potshot at the BJP and JJP, saying, “This time the JJP has to be turned into a ‘Jamanat Jabt Party’ (the party whose deposit has been forfeited). Those who wanted to become BJP candidates are sitting at home today and those being given the ticket by the saffron party are returning it. Even some people are withdrawing their nomination. Such is the condition of the BJP.”
Chadha said Haryana had Delhi on one side and Punjab on the other. “If the AAP forms the government in Haryana, too, then this ‘triple engine’ (Haryana, Punjab and Delhi) will together significantly progress,” he added.
