Special training for investigating officers of Ambala range
A three-day special training session is being organised for police officials of Ambala Range to enhance their investigative capabilities and professional excellence of officers dealing with economic offences.
This initiative aims at empowering investigating officers with advanced methodologies and best practices for enabling them to address economic offences more effectively.
As per the information, the training is being organised by Sibash Kabiraj, Inspector, General of Police, Ambala Range, in compliance with the directions of the DGP, Haryana, Shatrujeet Kapur, for enhancing the investigative capabilities of investigating officials of the range. As part of the training programme, a presentation based on the book, "Investigation of economic offences," authored by Shatrujeet Kapur, DGP, Haryana, is being showcased.
A police spokesman said, “The programme is focused on providing key insights and techniques for effectively handling cases related to economic offences. The programme being conducted at the IG office started on November 25 and will conclude on November 27. The initiative aims at empowering investigating officers with advanced methodologies and best practices for enabling them to address economic offences more effectively.
During the training session, the investigating officers engaged in economic offences investigations, along with one DSP from Ambala, Yamunanagar and Kurukshetra, were being included. Around 80 to 90 investigating officers are being trained during the training programme. Additionally, the programme is mandatory for all officers posted in the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW). The training also includes briefings by experienced retired and serving officers specialising in economic offences investigation.
Kabiraj stated that the training programme was a significant step toward strengthening the Haryana Police’s investigative framework and making the justice delivery system more effective. He emphasised that the initiative reflected the state police's commitment not only to crime prevention but also in upgrading expertise and resources in criminal investigations. More such training sessions will continue to be organised in the future.
