Speaker meets VP, Khattar

Newly appointed Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan met Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in New Delhi on Wednesday. This was Kalyan’s first meeting with the leaders since his appointment, during which he invited the Vice- President to visit the Haryana Legislative Assembly.

Dhankhar congratulated Kalyan on his unanimous election and extended best wishes for his tenure, emphasising India’s influential role on the global stage and the shared responsibility to contribute to national development. He underscored the importance of India's strength in promoting global peace and unity.

Union Minister Khattar expressed confidence in Kalyan’s leadership, believing it would elevate the Assembly’s impact. He encouraged initiatives for developing new legislators and emphasised the need for public representatives to foster public trust.
