Sonepat: An entrance examination for admission into the Masters of Law (LLM) course was conducted at Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya on Saturday. Vice-Chancellor Sudesh visited the examination centre and took stock of the arrangements. Controller of Examinations (COE) Sandeep Dahiya and Director of Public Relations Lt Colonel Anil Balhara accompanied her during the visit. COE Dahiya said that out of the 87 applicants, 75 appeared in the examination. The entrance examination was conducted peacefully. There are 30 seats available in this course. The COE said the result would be declared on July 7.

73 students get scholarship

Yamunanagar: 73 students of Seth Jai Parkash Polytechnic, Damla, have been awarded Rs 50,000 per annum each under the Pragati scholarship for meritorious girl students and saksham scholarship for specially-abled students by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The recognition is a testament to the outstanding academic achievements of these students and marks a significant steps towards their bright future. This year 22 girls and one specially-abled student from first year received the scholarship. In addition to 48 girls of second and third year and two specially-abled students.
