Slow work on expressway bane of commuters
The construction of the 12-lane Delhi- Mumbai Expressway passing through the city is going at a very slow pace resulting in inconvenience to residents and commuters. The work on the 13 km passage of this expressway is proving to be a hurdle for thousands of vehicles crossing this road daily. With no wide slip roads, the commuters find it difficult to cross various points and this results in huge traffic jams and snarls, especially during the peak hours. The overall delay in its construction is making life difficult for commuters. The authorities should sit up and take not of it and speed up the work. AK Gaur, Faridabad

Road in poor shape in Dabwali town
The road connecting Dabwali town to Rania town in Sirsa district is in a poor condition. The entire stretch has innumerable potholes. At certain places on the road, it is difficult to even spot the metalled road. The state government needs to wake up and take cognisance of this road.
