Sahil Suthar, a young boy from Dingmandi village, has exemplified his passion, dedication and a clear focus, as he joined the Indian Air Force as a Flying Officer. His early education was at a local school, followed by higher studies at Satluj Public School in Bhattu Mandi. While in Class IX after seeing various aircraft, his dream of joining the Air Force took wings. Sahil pursued his goal with relentless effort supported by his family’s encouragement.

Sahil credited his success to his parents, Vinod Kumar and Somi Devi, his grandfather, Mahavir Prasad and great grandfather Amilal Mandan. In his message to the youth, Sahil advised them to stay away from mobile phones and harmful habits. He said that if they concentrated on their goals and avoided getting distracted, they could achieve anything they set their mind to.

Sharing his journey, Sahil emphasised that simply setting a goal was not enough; it required commitment.
