Sirsa district prepares for high voter turnout
In the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections scheduled for October 5, Sirsa district is anticipating a significant voter turnout. A total of 10,06,115 voters are registered, including 5,31,180 men, 4,74,908 women, and 27 transgenders. Of these, 25,138 voters will be participating in the election for the first time.
The distribution of voters across the district’s constituencies includes Kalanwali 1,84,054 voters, with 97,485 men, 86,563 women, and six transgenders. Dabwali follows with 2,07,245 voters, comprising 1,09,645 men, 97,597 women, and three transgenders. The Rania constituency includes 1,89,166 voters, with 99,928 men, 89,234 women, and 4 transgenders. In Sirsa, there are 2,30,519 voters, including 1,20,714 men, 1,09,794 women, and 11 transgenders.
Ellenabad has 1,95,131 voters, with 1,03,408 men, 91,720 women, and three transgenders.
Additionally, there are 1,379 service voters. To facilitate the voting process, 996 polling stations have been established across the district, ensuring that all voters have access to cast their ballots.
