Polling concluded peacefully across all eight Assembly segments of Ambala and Kurukshetra on Saturday, with only a few verbal altercations reported between BJP and Congress workers. Despite these minor incidents, voting proceeded smoothly, with higher turnout observed in rural areas compared to urban segments.

In Ambala district, Naraingarh saw the highest voter turnout at 73.1%, followed by Mullana (70.7%), Ambala Cantonment (64.3%), and Ambala City (62.9%). The district’s overall turnout was 67.4% by 6 pm. Kurukshetra district also witnessed strong participation, with Ladwa leading at 71.6%, followed by Shahabad (66.7%), Pehowa (65.4%), and Thanesar (61.5%). The average turnout for Kurukshetra was recorded at 66.2% by 6 pm.

Several prominent figures, including caretaker Chief Minister Nayab Saini, Anil Vij, Aseem Goel, Nirmal Singh, Chitra Sarwara, and Ashok Arora, saw their fates sealed in EVMs.
