Rewari district has witnessed a hike up to 20 per cent in the new circle rates approved by the state government. Shri Bhagwan, Tehsildar, says the circle rates have been increased in three slabs that are 10, 15 and 20 per cent. The maximum hike has been given to commercial properties in the district while a majority of the residential properties have recorded the hike of 10 to 15 per cent.

He says the localities that have witnessed 20 per cent rise in the circle rates include HSVP Sector-3, Sector-4, KM Tower Commercial shops, Bawal Road from Circular road to Maharana Pratap Chowk, Residential plot in Suncity, Gautam Nagar, Ghisa ki Dhani, Housing Board colony, Mukti Wara, Sajan Colony, Shiv Nagar, Shopping Centre in Sector-5 and Balluwara Commercial.

Similarly, a 20 per cent hike has been imposed for properties in Aaspur, Kathuwas, Qutubpur Mola, Konsiwas, land near state highway, major district road, link road in Kharsanki, Khalilpur, Gangaicha Jat, Jaitpur Shekhpur, Dawana, Daliyaki and Dohki villages.
