Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh today called upon BJP leaders and workers to work hard to ensure the victory of party candidates in all three seats of Rewari district.

Addressing a rally here, Rao said: “Rewari is called a prestigious seat of south Haryana...it is not any other election, but the one for establishing the supremacy of south Haryana. This election will decide whether the dominance of south Haryana will remain or not. So work for ensuring the victory of the BJP candidate.

“When a candidate is decided by the party, then those who didn’t get the ticket should support him as nothing is bigger than the party’s interest. My daughter had been demanding the BJP ticket in the past two Assembly elections, but did not get it. Despite this, we campaigned for the party candidates wholeheartedly.”

The Union Minister called upon the people to vote for the BJP candidates while considering that Rao Inderjit Singh was contesting the elections on these seats. “Rewari is vital as politics of entire South Haryana runs from here. We cannot lose it in any condition. I have been winning from every Assembly segment of Rewari district in the Lok Sabha elections. Those who support me in the Lok Sabha poll must support and vote for the BJP candidate Laxman Singh Yadav.

Notably, BJP candidates on all three seats — Rewari, Kosli and Bawal (reserve) — are locked in a close contest with the Congress candidates this time. Congress sitting MLA Chiranjeev Rao, son of former minister Capt Ajay Singh Yadav, is again in the fray.
