Rounds of meeting of officials and BJP leaders to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s programme on December 9 a success are in full swing.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would launch a ‘Bima Sakhi’ scheme of Life Insurance Company (LIC) for empowering the women on December 9 from the land of Panipat, from where he launched the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ (BBBP) campaign nine years ago on January 22, 2015.

The stage is being prepared in Sector 13/17 ground. Former MP Sanjay Bhatia along with Dr Archna Gupta and ADC Pankaj Yadav along with other officials visited the venue on Wednesday and reviewed the preparations there.

The DC also directed the officials of the LIC to mount the hoardings and boards at the various places in the city about the programme. Apart from this, the list of the officials coming from LIC headquarter should be handed over to the district administration to avert any trouble during the programme, the DC asked the LIC officers in the meeting.5
