Poll Vault: Bovine blessings!
Faridabad: A cow strayed into the rally of BJP’s Ballabhgarh candidate Moolchand Sharma, creating commotion among the audience. However, cool as a cucumber, Sharma used this ‘bovine’ opportunity to seek blessings of ‘gau mata’ by bowing his head before it was reverently led out of the venue.
Abhay ko gussa kyon aata hai
Sirsa: Fielding tough questions seems to be INLD leader Abhay Chautala’s Achilles’ heel. Abhay lost his cool yet again when put in a tight spot by a Delhi-based reporter’s query on ‘unofficial’ pact between the INLD and the BJP. A furious Abhay walked out of the interview, but not before dubbing the reporter as a ‘paid agent’ of the Congress.
No friends or foes in politics
Rohtak: There are no permanent friends or foes in politics. Meham MLA Balraj Kundu, who was planning to field his wife from Julana Assembly segment, left the seat for Olympian wrestler Vinesh Phogat after the Congress announced her as its nominee. However, this did not stop Vinesh from campaigning for Congress candidate Balram Dangi, who is contesting against Kundu from Meham.
