Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated the people of Haryana and BJP workers on the party’s third consecutive victory in the state assembly elections.

PM Modi tweeted, “This is the victory of the politics of development and good governance. I assure the people of Haryana that we will leave no stone unturned to fulfil their aspirations.”

Amit Shah attributed the win to the unwavering faith of farmers, poor, backward, soldiers, and youth in the BJP government led by PM Modi. “The people of ‘Veerbhoomi’ have rejected the negative and divisive politics of the Congress, choosing BJP’s 10-year track record of development and poor welfare.”

Shah also took a veiled dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying, “The land of farmers and soldiers has taught a lesson to those who go abroad and insult the country for their vote bank.” He thanked the people of Haryana for giving BJP the opportunity to serve the state for the third consecutive time.

Shah asserted that the people have shown unshakable faith in BJP’s politics of performance, rejecting the Congress’ “false and empty promises”.
