Mangal Singh, a plumber from Sirsa, has struck gold by winning Rs 1.5 crore in the Punjab State Dear 200 Monthly Lottery. This news has brought immense joy to his family, who celebrated by distributing sweets on Wednesday.

Mangal Singh had purchased the Rs 200 lottery ticket from Mansa (Punjab) agent Lalit four days ago. The draw took place on Tuesday, December 3, at 8 pm. That night, Lalit and Sumit, the owner of Sumit Lottery Agency, called Mangal to give him the news. He said initially, he couldn’t believe it but stayed awake all night.

On Wednesday, tax consultant Deepak Monga and Lalit Gumber visited Mangal's home to guide him through the claim process. Deepak confirmed that the claim would be filed on Thursday, December 5, and the prize money would be credited to Mangal's bank account soon after.
