Pizza shop fails, owner robs bank operator, held

The Dabwali Police’s CIA staff has arrested three persons, including a minor, in connection with the robbery of a bank operator in Kalanwali, Sirsa. The police have recovered the stolen Rs 4.95 lakh and the motorcycle used in the crime. The arrested suspects have been identified as Arshdeep, a resident of Kalanwali, and Gursewak Singh, alias Deep, from Chakerian.
Inspector Virender Singh revealed that Arshdeep, who ran a pizza shop in Raman Mandi, Punjab, plotted the robbery after his business failed. Gursewak Singh and the minor, who worked at his shop, assisted him in executing the plan.
On August 12, Harbans Lal filed a complaint with the police stating that his son Vipin, who runs a PNB Mitra Bank branch, was robbed while on his way to deposit Rs 6.40 lakh at the bank. Following an investigation using CCTV footage and cyber cell assistance, the police apprehended the suspects.
