Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Congress leader Sachin Pilot called upon people of Gharaunda to bring an end to the 14-and-a-half-year political exile of the party from the Gharaunda Assembly seat.

Addressing a gathering in Kohand village in support of party’s candidate for the Gharaunda Assembly segment Virender Rathore, Pilot urged voters to secure the party’s victory in the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. Pilot emphasised that it was time for the Congress to reclaim its position in Gharaunda.

“Lord Ram endured an exile of 14 years, but the Congress has been witnessing an exile of 14-and-a-half years from Gharaunda. It is time to end this and ensure the victory of Virender Rathore to bring the party back to power,” said Pilot.

Pilot also highlighted Rathore's strong connection with the people of Gharaunda, saying Rathore had consistently remained with the people of the constituency. “This time, vote for Rathore so that your MLA can represent you in Chandigarh and work for your benefit,” the party leader said.
