Persons with disabilities get relief at Samadhan Shivir
The Samadhan Shivir being organised by the district administration to redress public grievances brought a major relief to two persons with disabilities when Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pradeep Dahiya directed officials concerned to resolve their grievances on the spot.
Complying with the directives, the officials concerned not only completed the paper formalities at the shivir but also ensured the benefit of pension to Rahul of Babepur village here. Otherwise, he was making rounds of the office to get his pension.
Similarly, the DC directed the officials concerned to provide motor-tricycles to Dharambir of Raiya village here at the earliest after hearing his grievance. Both persons got the relief a day before the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is observed on December 3.Besides them, the property ID of Rishal Singh of Model Town locality here was generated on the spot at the shivir. The action came when the DC after listening to his grievance directed the Executive Officer of the Municipal Council to generate the property ID with immediate effect.
“Samadhan shivirs are being organised across the district to redress public grievances on the spot. DC Pradeep Dahiya himself listens to the public grievances seriously and ensures their quick and effective solution. Even, the complaints are monitored by him continuously,” said a district official.
