Overcrowding in markets may lead to rise in Covid cases
With the number of Covid cases decreasing, shopkeepers are allowed to open their shops on the odd-even basis, but no shopkeeper observes it seriously, resulting in complete chaos on roads. There is heavy traffic and autos and rehriwalas further aggravate the situation. The shopkeepers place their wares up to the middle of the roads and allow rehriwalas to stay put in front of their shops by charging monthly rentals from them. No step has been taken to check the situation and it is feared that the number of cases may rise again. — Ramesh Gupta, Narwana
