National conference on nanoscience concludes
The two-day 11th National Conference on Nanoscience and Instrumentation Technology (NCNIT-2024), organised by the department of physics, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, concluded on Saturday.
Dr PC Tewari, in-charge public relations of NIT, informed that there were four sessions along with the three expert talks, two posters and two oral presentation sessions. Experts were invited from various institutions, including Defence Geoinformatics Research Establishment (DGRE-DRDO), Chandigarh; Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIR-CSIO), Chandigarh; and Panjab University to deliver keynote and Plenary lectures.
Dr Sachin Tyagi, CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh, talked about magnetic and microwave absorbing material-based composite with stealth technology. As many as 100 participated in the conference followed by 41 posters and 13 oral presentations during the conference.
The awards were distributed for four best oral and six best poster presentations followed. The best oral and poster presentations awards were received by Rajat Prakash, Kanika, Angel, Shubham Saini, Yukti, Shorya Kumar, Lalita Rani, Mamta Kumari, Pooja, Parveen Kumar and Vikas Kumar.
