NAAC team visits Fatehabad's Manohar Memorial BEd College for quality assessment
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) team visited Manohar Memorial BEd College in Fatehabad to evaluate the quality of higher education and review it’s academic, administrative and other activities on Wednesday. The inspection team included Dr Ilyas Hussain, Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia; Dr Manoj Kumar Saxena from Central University of Himachal Pradesh; and Dr Chandrakant from Nashik, Maharashtra. Dr Raj Kumar, an associate professor from Chaudhary Devi Lal University, also attended as a VC nominee.
The NAAC team was welcomed by college officials — Manohar Memorial Education Society’s president Rajiv Batra, Secretary Vinod Mehta, vice-president Ashok Taneja and Principal Dr Gurcharan Das, along with Dr Janak Rani, Principal of MM BEd College. The college had prepared extensively for this visit and students were enthusiastic about the team’s arrival. The NAAC team was greeted with an NCC march-past and a flower shower from the NSS volunteers, followed by a cultural programme performed by the students.
During their two-day visit, the team inspected the college’s facilities in detail, covering academic programmes, teaching methods, library, laboratories, sports, cultural activities and support systems. They also interacted with students, teachers and staff to assess the educational standards, resources and overall learning environment at the college.
