Expressing concerns over the shortage of DAP fertiliser, Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal has requested Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to ensure adequate stocks for farmers in the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency.

He has written to the Chief Minister regarding the shortage of DAP. In the letter, the MP mentioned that the farmers were not getting DAP under Pehowa, Thanesar, Shahabad, Radaur, Ladwa, Kalayat, Guhla, Pundri and Kaithal segments of the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency while the sowing of wheat was underway. “A delegation of farmers has informed that despite standing in queue throughout the day, farmers were not getting the DAP. I humbly request you to call an emergency meeting with the officials and direct them to provide fertiliser to farmers so that they don’t face any inconvenience,” the MP mentioned in the letter.

MP Jindal said providing all necessary facilities to farmers was the priority and with the efforts of the Chief Minister the issue would be resolved soon.
