Modi, Shah realised Patel's dream by abolishing Article 370: Panwar
Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar has stated that the country’s first Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, laid the foundation of a unified country by getting 562 princely states merged into the Indian Union.
Panwar maintained that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have fulfilled Patel’s dream by abolishing Article 370, which gave a special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
The minister was addressing a gathering as the chief guest at a district-level function to mark National Unity Day at Rohtak. Panwar administered the oath of national unity to the gathering and flagged off the Run for Unity along with former minister Manish Grover, Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Narender Kumar, ASP Shashi Shekhar, City Magistrate Ankit Kumar and others. The event was organised to mark Sardar Patel’s 150th birth anniversary across the country.
Talking to mediapersons, Panwar said the BJP has won the Assembly elections by treading the path of truth and formed a government with full majority, while the Congress tried to mislead the public. The minister and his companions had tea and breakfast at a popular tea staff in the city.
