“We will ensure the development of every village and every community as a whole. I will always stand by you,” she said. Her mother Kiran Choudhry said that she was passing on the baton to her daughter Shruti Choudhry who she said will nurture the constituency which has been represented by Bansi Lal and Surender Singh in the past.

Striking an emotional chord with the local residents, Kiran said that it was the most poignant moment for her. “After a lot of struggle, your Chaudhar has been restored. Your time has come now,” she said, adding that she was thankful to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the top leadership of the BJP for giving this opportunity to serve the people.
