A team of the Mines and Geology Department inspected several screening plants at Lakkar and Asgarpur villages of Yamunanagar district to take stock of mining mineral.

The inspection was reportedly conducted after the owners of some plants raised questions over the working of a team of the CM flying squad that had raided several plants on December 12 and took action against five plants.

According to information, Mahender Pal, Additional Director of the department, passed an order on December 13 to constitute a team comprising Assistant Mining Engineer Neeraj Kumar and Mining Officer Om Dutt Sharma to verify the facts.
